Does Mesalazine affects Cavernomas?

Postby Haris » Tue Apr 17, 2018 1:15 pm

I have ulcerative colitis and Mesalazine and other anti inflamation meds are a must i my case.
Could that affect my CM? I just know that mesalazine causes inhibition of thrombocyte aggregation with dosage more than 1,6 gr p.o , exept that i dont know nothing else...Can someone help?
Are there any alternatives?

I don't know about the risks of the medicine..but have you tried an integrative doctor to try to heal the colitis? Do you know what's causing it? Assuming you tried diet and probiotics already. Sorry I'm not very helpful.
Diagnosed September '09 with one CM centered in the right insular cortex/basal ganglia. Saw many, many doctors and had surgery 12/10/10 with Dr. Spetzler. I am thrilled to have this bleeding thing out of my head even though I suffered a stroke during surgery. Have had/ continue to make an amazing recovery.
