LA Area Awareness Walk (and urgent t-shirt info)

Postby Connie Lee » Wed Sep 10, 2014 1:51 am

We're at the beginning stages of organizing a walk in Pasadena in October - it will probably be the 2nd or 3rd weekend. If you live in the LA area and are interested, please contact Kristen Lewis at kristen.lewis@angioma.org.

Also, if you would like an Awareness Walk t-shirt, you have to order by the end of the day this Thursday, Sept 11. I'm putting in the order with the vendor on Friday. The order form link is https://events.r20.constantcontact.com/ ... &oseq&c&ch

Thanks!

Have there been any other walks held in the Los Angeles area since 2014?

Yes, there is still a group...not sure "active" is exactly descriptive... but there are others in LA that do meet time to time. There has been a "walk" in Malibu for the past few years...I couldn't go last year because of a sick child. If you send me ur email I can forward it to a few people that have been instrumental in the past. Or you can reach out to them: Kristen Lewis, and Linda Fisher(that's not her proper spelling, but I can't remember the spelling). If you do Facebook, you might find them there as well. I'm in LA and still very interested in supporting AA. Looking forward to catching up with you sometime!!
