Welcome to the new Angioma Alliance forum.

If you were familiar with the old forum, you'll notice a lot of changes. First of all, we were not able to move the old forum's archives to the new forum; we're working on providing searchable access to the archives, and we'll let you know when this is available.

When you register on the forum, your first post will be moderated. Don't worry if you don't see your first post right away; a moderator will get to it as soon as they can. Once we're sure that you're not a spammer, you'll be allowed to post freely.

To change your profile - to add an avatar or signature, or to set preferences - click the User Control Panel link above to the left.

Posting here is pretty simple, but if you need help, there are two things you can do. First, click the FAQ link above to the right; that will take you to a help page that explains a lot of this forum's features. Second, post a message in the Help with the Forum section, and someone will try and help you out.

A few tips: if you come to the forum regularly, you'll find some useful links on the main page just above the list of forums at the left. Click View Unread Posts to see a single-page list of all the posts that you haven't read. Click View New Posts to see all those that were posted since your last visit. Above the forum list to the right is a Mark All Read link; click that if you've scanned new posts and don't want to read them all, but don't want them to show up as "new" on your next visit. Note that, unlike the previous forum, new posts are displayed here at the bottom of the page.

Remember, posts you make here are public, and will be visible as long as the forum lasts, even though your identity is hidden behind your user name. Your e-mail address is not public, however. Do not include your own identifying information in your messages unless you are certain that you will always want to have your association with the illness known. Also, please never include another member's identifying information in your posts.

The information posted here by Angioma Alliance or any third party should not be considered medical advice and is not intended to replace consultation with a qualified medical professional.

Take a minute to introduce yourself in this forum so people can get to know you. However, if you have specific questions, please ask them in the Support Forum.

Thank you for joining our forum.
