Just thought I would say Hi to all my fellow sufferers on this site.

My name is Laura and I have a Occipital Lobe cavernoma.... newly diagnosed have not even seen a neurologist at this stage and GP had never heard of it.

seems fairly quiet here... Have joined the UK site but have had to jump through a couple of hoops first and I am waiting for confirmation of membership

Hope you are all doing well and that I can get to know a few of you here!

12mm Left Occipital Lobe Cavernova - diagnosed Monday 23rd April 2012 following Tonic-Clonic Seizure - preceded by a series of visual disturbances over approx 12 months diagnosed with Occipital Lobe Epilepsy 10th May 2012 prescribed Lamotrigine

Yes, the UK forum here is quiet; most people just post in the regular forum. Cavernoma Alliance UK also has an email list that you can join.
Two brainstem CAs in the pons. Big Bleed in July 2005, previous, undiagnosed bleeds in 1982 and 1987, and several smaller bleeds in the past few years. I live in a town in the French Alps. http://www.mcelhearn.com
